Martin and Pam were married in a simple ceremony in London, with Nicki as a bridesmaid and Oliver, Martin's brother and Bob Dewhurst, a close friend, as witnesses. The whole 7 strong wedding party enjoyed a lovely meal in a local restaurant in celebration, followed by a stroll through South Gate Park. In the evening Martin drove his brother home to Harlow while Nicki, Pam and her french friend Paule went to the theatre. Thus began 49 happy years of marriage!
